What is Gershwins?
Gershwins is an award winning coffee house and restaurant, it has been a family run business ever since it was established in the 1980's. Located in the heart of the city, we are proud to have been serving customers, what we believe to be, the best home cooked food Swansea has to offer, for over 30 years.
Having the largest indoor market in the country right on our doorstep, means that our chefs have access to fresh, local and seasonal produce all year round. Our menu consists of a broad range of home-cooked food, from classic to contemporary a la carte dishes, all cooked to order.

History & Visitors
The building retains many original features from its days as a bakery at the turn of the century, lending to it’s old world charm and relaxed atmosphere. Our close proximity to the Grand Theatre, has over the years made us very popular with theatre goers. We have been frequented by a host of stars over the years, particularly at Christmas time with the annual pantos. Chico was a recent favourite with our customers.
